Sailing with Robert, Jan. 21, 2008

We had another fun sail today. This time it was after work. We went just about to the tip of Camano island. We used the 100% jib and we weren't too far from Hat island. It was a clear day, so we had a great view of Mt. Rainier and the moon! We got back in the dark, and we decided to just manually furl the jib.

We had a small mishap motoring out of the marina, but fortunately the other boat owner was very nice about things. We bumped into his anchor and left a note on his boat. He called that night and everything was fine. We ended up bending another one of the safety poles, so now we've got two to fix.
