The Empire State building was a bit stormy, but we had a great time there and with lots of other fun activities: seeing the Statue of Liberty (and some sailboat races there); going on the subway everywhere; seeing Spamalot and then Mary Poppins with Lynn & Dave; the Museum of Natural History; a free dance concert at the Lincoln Center; Central Park; plus many other fun items!
