I am writing this in my auntie behalf. She was born 1924 and she
has lived since 1948 in Italy. Many years ago, she bought in a small
bric-a-brac shop in Florence, Italy, a napkin holder, made of solid
silver, with engraved inscription: Arthur Brereton Thompson, 6.1.1893,
from W. J.
She is very curious about history concerning this item – does
anyone know anything about it?
