Yes, it sounds like we are cousins!!! So, if we have the same 4th great grandfathers, we’d be 5th cousins! That would be pretty neat. I also, can’t get past Henry Arthur Brereton and Elizabeth Whitford. I’ll post this on our www.brereton.org website to see if any other Brereton’s know how things would go further.

My name is Casen Brereton Combs and I am a descendant of Arthur Brereton. His son Thomas is my 3rd great grandfather. Robert Johnson Brereton is my 2nd great grandfather. I found your website, brereton.org, and it would appear we are cousins!
I'm having a very difficult time finding anything out about Arthur Brereton's parents. I wondered if you had been able to trace his lineage further back. I have found some evidence that suggests his parents' names were Henry Arthur Brereton and Elizabeth Whitford, but the trail stops there.
